Lady Gaga Revives Her Iconic Blonde Hair for a Glamorous Arrival in Venice with Fiancé Michael Polansky

The Oscar winner's return to blonde comes just 18 days after she shared a selfie showcasing her new black hair and bleached brows.

Lady Gaga once sang, “I’m as free as my hair,” and her recent color changes suggest she might be embracing that freedom. The 38-year-old “Die with a Smile” singer made a stylish entrance at the Venice Film Festival on Monday, Sept. 2, sporting her signature blonde locks. This look comes almost three weeks after she shared a selfie with black hair and bleached brows.

At the festival to promote *Joker: Folie à Deux*, the 13-time Grammy winner enjoyed a gondola ride through the Italian canals with her fiancé, Michael Polansky. The couple shared tender moments with hugs and kisses on the boat and again upon arriving at the Hotel Cipriani dock.

Lady Gaga's switch back to blonde comes just 18 days after she shared a candid Instagram photo of her dark hair transformation on August 15. As recently as six days ago, she was still seen with her dark locks.

Before this dramatic change, the "Million Reasons" singer was flaunting a platinum blonde look while performing at the 2024 Paris Olympics just a month earlier.

Although Lady Gaga has experimented with various hair colors throughout her career, she is most famously associated with her blonde hair, a look she’s embraced on and off since the release of the music video for her debut single, “Just Dance,” in 2008.

At the Venice Film Festival on Monday, the Oscar winner complemented her blonde locks with a short black dress adorned with white polka dots. She completed her ensemble with black sunglasses and high heels.

Her fiancé, on the other hand, opted for a sleek all-black outfit paired with casual shoes.

Lady Gaga's *Joker: Folie à Deux* is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 4, with a wide theatrical release following on October 4. In the film, Gaga stars as Harley Quinn, the love interest of the Joker, who is played once again by Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix.

The Venice Film Festival takes place from August 28 to September 7.
